What is the difference between SACD, DVD-A, and The Rolling Stones' Four Flicks?
RSFF is just a DVD that happens to have songs, right? Nothing special about it? Can you insert it in a CD player and listen to anything?
What about SACD and DVD-A? Can you insert those into a CD player and listen to something? How can you tell from the descriptions? What is the difference between the three? I listen to DVDs through the TV's speakers so I wouldn't really benefit from SACD and DVD-A right?

Just regular DVDs. 3 concerts (not complete ones) and a 4th disc of extras.

RS-FF is just a plain concert DVD.
And yes SACD and DVD-A are worthless if you just use the TV speakers. |

Oh, a few SACDs are hybrids.... they contain a regular CD track. Pink Floyd Dark Side of the Moon is like this.
If you wanna know the difference between SACD and DVD-A, go to the Music Forum. I'm pretty sure I saw a discussion relating to that subject. If you can't find anything, I (or someone) can probably give a rudimentary run down here. Being "bunned" means not listening to movies in surround ![]()
