Anyone find new Scrooge DVD at B&M yet?

Subject says it all. I've been looking for the new Scrooge DVD just released last month and not been able to find it at any B&M's here in north eastern Ohio. Anyone have any luck finding it off line? If so -- where and how much was it stickered at?

Thanks!

MEdia PLay

I assume you refer to the Albert Finney 1970 version. If so, I bought mine at Media Play, for 17.98.

I've seen it all over Las Vegas, plenty of copies.

Check your local BORDERS. The store in Eugene had a bunch of copies in stock last week for $12.99
(though you could probably order it from an online dvd retailer like DDD for around $10.)

Thanks for the tips. I'll check Borders as there is one not too far from here. If I don't find it there, I'll have to hit the Media Play in Pittsburgh when I'm there in 2 weeks.

Albert Finney rules. Can't wait to replace that LD copy of Scrooge.

Cheers!

"I love life... life likes..." Albert Finney Thanks RevKarl for pointing me toward Borders. "Scrooge" was the FIRST DVD I've ever purchased from Borders in the 5 years since having my DVD player....

12.99 like you reported.

Cheers!

I think the definitive version is the old b&w with Alistair Sim. Really superb atmosphere.

Aw c'mon, now . . . Alistair Sim? Albert Finney? Patrick Stewart? What's intimidating about them? They're so frail and thin . . . But George C. Scott . . . here is an Ebenezer Scrooge who can fire you, foreclose on your house, AND whoop your ass . . . now that's a Scrooge!!

Glad to have been some help... and to learn that someone out there (aside from my sister) likes this film, as it was a Cinema Center
production back when one of my favorite ol' instructors at USC was running the company.

Yup . . . me too . . . mine is in transit as we speak. Probably would have arrived today if it weren't for Veteran's Day.
