and I wonder if born in the usa will be the accoustic version thats on live at nyc, or if it'll be more like the original version?

I believe it was over 2 to 3 nights. Plus, the first disk was the HBO special and the second disk was a bunch of things they didn't show on HBO, so it also wasn't in the concert order.

- The version of Born in the USA on the new DVD is with the full band.
- Live In NYC is a great DVD, but it is not a whole show. Disc 1 is the HBO special, which is a jumbled mix of songs, and Disc 2 is more songs from the last three nights of his 10-night NYC stand in June-July 2000.
- The new DVD contains the CBS special that was aired earlier this year in the context of the full Barcelona show from October 2002.
- Many shows from Springsteen's US stadium tour this past summer were filmed, leading to speculation that another DVD from the tour would be released next year.
- Fans have been asking Springsteen to release a whole uncut show for about 25 years now!

Born in the USA was done full band in Barcelona. Only Spirit in the Night and Incident on 57th Street were performed solo acoustic (piano).
