Finally great to see Matilda getting that special edition re-release. Hopefully it'll be in it's OAR of 2.35:1.

Great that The Critic is coming sooner rather than later.

What the hell could possibly be in a director's cut of The New Guy? I'm serious. Did anybody actually request this?

Cool . . . I'm excited about the Labyrinth CE. Also, one question . . . is the Annie SE the Carol Burnett one or the Kathy Bates. Hopefully Burnett . . . she is the definitive Ms. Hannigan.

Wow. Adam Had Four Sons. It rarely fails, you buy a VHS of a movie you think is YEARS away from a DVD release, and then they announce it.

I hear Dr. Strangelove (Superbit) will only be coming out in Japan. Is it coming out in Region 1 as well?

It has to be the one with Burnett, because Disney owns the rights to the made-for-TV version. Oh, but maybe they'll accidentally transfer the wrong one like they did with the Superbit Les Miserables.

Maybe this time they'll get the transfer framed properly, and won't cram WS and P&S versions on one disc.

Sorry to disagree, but the definitive Ms. Hannigan was the late Kathleen Freeman (for those unfamilar with this character actress by name, she is best known to modern audiences as "Sister Mary Stigmata" in The Blues Brothers)... unfortunately, her brilliant stage performance isn't on film.

Returning to the thread topic, I'm still waiting for Columbia to finally release A Matter of Life and Death (a.k.a. Stairway to Heaven)!!!!

Finally - a date for The Critic! Nice!

Funny how Dilbert is the Complete Series, but The Critic is the Entire Series. Gotta love that uniformity over at Columbia.

I imagine it will be like all the superbits.

Movie only, no extras, crappy menus.

You've got to be kidding me. A Director's Cut of The New Guy? I usually love these teen comedies but The New Guy was awful. Maybe I would buy this if the director's cut featured a naked Eliza Dushku.
