Who else hates Matrix Reloaded cover?

I hate the cover for the upcoming Matrix Reloaded! What Moron is responsible for this cover? They just could have done better. Anybody else agree?

I like it. Would you have preferred the "Neo's crotch shot" poster version on the case?

I like it but I'm also curious to see what custom covers people come up with for it. I'm always willing to change a cover if a homemade one is better.

Threads like these make me wish we had a whole subforum for covers, cases, and inserts...

I agree, the cover looks a bit... lazy.

I dislike most DVD cover art.
I hate the extreme close up head shot of whatever big name actor is in the film. Those are the worst.

Wow, I seem to recall, when the cover was first posted here on the forums, that a ton of people hated it. Now it seems like most people coming in here either like it or like it enough. I didn't exactly hate it when I first saw it. I wasn't even sure if it was real, since it looked kinda fake. It does kinda match the first one in that you see full-body shots. I don't particularly let covers bother me. It's the cases I deal with first. So, yeah, I wouldn't say that I hate it. But I also wouldn't say I like it. It's just a cover to me.

I think I might wait for the better version next year and see if it has a better cover.

Cover don't matter to me - all I can see is the spine from my dvd rack.

Plus - I just really care about the movie only.

It's decent. Like Spankyj says, it doesn't really matter to me as I won't be looking at the cover 98% of the time, I'll be seeing the spine.

Doesn't bother me. If I wanted to stare at a movie's marketing ad I would get the poster and hang it on my wall.

It's not great. The disappointing part is that there are so many possible cool images from the movies that could be used as covers.

You can have a choice of covers in the UK if you buy it from HMV.co.uk, trouble is it costs almost double what my R1 copy did.

I too dislike the cover, but im still gonna buy it on Tuesday. As long as the movie is fine, ill be happy. Dont think too much about the cover art, there are more important things in life.

I don't care for the cover either, but there are worse. I doubt it will hurt their DVD sales much...although a very cool cover can promote spur of the moment purchases.
