i'd rather have the DVD of the director's cut myself. It's the way the film is intended to be seen, plus I thought Stone's commentary was very good.

Natural Born Killers is one of my top ten movies of all time, and the DVD did not at all disappoint. Despite the non anamorphic transfer, the picture is pretty sharp and the sound, while not exceptional, more than satisfies. There is a lot of intentional grain and muddy images, but once again is not the DVD's problem. The Director's Cut of the movie is the only way to go, with the gore levels probably being more than any movie up to its time. The disc rounds out with probably the most detailed commentary ever (Oliver Stone), a 30 minute documentary on the film, some extensive deleted scenes, trailers, and cast and crew. Screw the one that is being presented with the Stone set, this is the only one to get...
