What's the deal with director Taylor Hackford talking over all of the deleted scenes? You'd think that they would give us the option to watch them as shot without the director gabbing over all of the dialog. To make things worse, there is no closed captioning of the dialog either. That really makes the value of this extra footage included on the DVD next to worthless. That was a major gaffaw on the production team when they put this DVD package together for release. Just my opinion. Anyone else?

I totally agree! My brother and I were
watching it recently and we kept saying
"is there any way to shut him up!?" The
simple fact is, they screwed up. Why include deleted scenes of conversations
when you can`t hear the conversations?

I agree. I also think that the deleted scenes are of such good quality (you can hear the dialogue if you pay REALLY close attention...and it's good stuff) that they should have just gone ahead and inserted them directly into the film.

I think they would add an extra dimension to some of the other scenes if they were properly inserted.

Just my .02.
