What a brutally awesome film. It's one of those films that just make you angry and is very hard to get out of your head.
I'm not in the club, just wanted to give my 2 cents. Enjoy guys!

It's not really a club like that, you ARE in the club. Comment anytime!
I think I own this one, bought it because it came with a Best Buy exclusive disc iirc. Hopefully will pause the Challenges and watch this one in the coming weeks.

I watched this last night and don't know what to say about it other than WOW!!! I can't stop thinking about it. It starts out a little slow, but give it a chance. It kicks in after the first half hour and really doesn't let up until the credits roll. Not really scary, just brutal. There are a couple of scenes that are really just hard to watch. Very obvious that it's not an American made film. I don't want to spoil the ending for anyone, so I'll just say it doesn't have your typical Hollywood ending. I loved it, but I'm not sure I'll ever want to watch it again.

I heard about this, and finally watched it a few months back. I was pleasently surprised, even though I heard it was good. It is just violent, once the action starts. The ending is a shocker, and might just be the most raw ending I've seen in a while. Very Good 7/10

Man, watched this tonight and I will echo what everyone else said...brutal film. Really tough to watch in places. It's one of those movies that you are able to put yourself in the place of the protagonists and wonder what you would do. Hell, you can even do this for the bullied kids in the film who feel they have to keep it going due to the main bully and peer pressure.
I thought it was almost perfect except for the ending. While I like how it was "final," I didn't like the convenient twist of where she ended up. It just seemed way too coincidental, especially from a movie that had been quite believable throughout until that point.
Still, really enjoyed it and hope more quality movies like this get recommended. Nice to never hear of a flick and walk away completely pleased.
My rating: ****1/2 out of *****

I was pleasantly surprised by this film. I had seen the movie mentioned a few different times, but I really wasn't expecting very much. I thought it was a pretty effective film, for the most part. The thing that really made my eyes roll a bit was actually what so many of you have said that you liked: the ending. I didn't find it shocking at all. I saw something like that coming from as far back as the cafe scene. I knew that waitress and her attitude would rear its head by the end. It seems to me that it was very predictable for a horror film. The victim seemingly escapes her captors, finds refuge at a home or some other possible refuge, only to discover that the leader/master/parents/base of operations is at the place where the victim thought to find sanctuary. That's not to say that it wasn't effective, but I certainly wouldn't call it shocking. As brianluvdvd says, it was convenient more than anything else.
