It's not about your review. I'm asking if you do not like the Alamo Drafthouse because it is clean and the patrons aren't scary enough.

Cool. Those would be really dumb reasons. I'm glad you don't hold those opinions.

Actually, that "No. I don't." meant, no, I don't like the Alamo because it's too clean and the people aren't scary.

Re: DVD Talk review of '42nd Street Forever Volume 5: Alamo Drafthouse Cinema'

Alright, finally got my copy two days ago. But VERY much worth the wait. Quite interesting to hear (On the commentary) how Tim always seems to get away by throwing an old nasty, brutal trailer in front of the likes of Sweet Home Alabama or A Beautful Mind at his theater.

Re: DVD Talk review of '42nd Street Forever Volume 5: Alamo Drafthouse Cinema'

Watched this today and loved it!

As for in Paul's review of the Sonny Chiba film with no info, it's a strange case. I couldn't find info on this film on imdb, but it does exist on Japanese databases.

In the early 70's Chiba made some "Yakuza Deka" AKA "Yakuza Cop" series. Part 1 and 2 have been released in the west, but part 3 and 4 are MIA. The trailer shown in this collection is a dubbed version of part 4, so apparently it must have been released in America.

In addition, the Yakuza Deka series have not been released on DVD in Japan. Anyway, I sent all the info to Paul's inbox.
