What are some good 70/80s comedies worth checking out
Looking for some opinions on 70/80s comedies that are worth checking out. Also feel free to mention some lesser talked about ones that maybe you personally enjoyed but the majority of people don't.

The Breakfast Club, Real Genius, Fast Times At Ridgemont High, Ferris Bueller's Day Off, and Summer School are the best comedies that came out in the 80's.

The one-two punch that is the Michael Caine / Christopher Reeves combo of Deathtrap and Noises Off.

This is Spinal Tap (82) holds up incredibly well because it gets better ever time you watch it. Same can be said for Monty Python's Holy Grail (74). A couple of the greatest comedies ever, not just of those eras.

Most of these are well known.
Airplane!
All of Me
Amazon Women on the Moon
Back to the Future
Beverly Hills Cop
Bill and Ted's Excellent Adventure
Blazing Saddles
The Blues Brothers
Brazil
Clue: The Movie
Ferris Bueller's Day Off
Fletch
Ghostbusters
Innerspace
The Jerk
Monty Python and the Holy Grail
Monty Python's Life of Brian
The Naked Gun: From the Files of Police Squad!
Planes, Trains and Automobiles
The Princess Bride
Raising Arizona
Scrooged
Slap Shot
The Sure Thing
Top Secret!
Trading Places
Twins
When Harry Met Sally...
Who Framed Roger Rabbit
Just barely disqualified: Quick Change. Also, I am surprised I'm one of the only people I've ever met that finds Trading Places a far, far better movie than the bloated, hit-and-miss Coming to America.

I'm hard to please when it comes to comedies, but ditto on the following:
AIRPLANE!
PEE WEE'S BIG ADVENTURE
THE BLUES BROTHERS
BILL AND TED'S EXCELLENT ADVENTURE
I'd also add BIG TOP PEE WEE.

Sorry, but Tyler is slowly becoming my soul brother. I agree with almost everything he says. Terrific list. Let me add...."Tootsie", "Uncle Buck", "Three O'Clock High", "Sixteen Candles" (come on Tyler!), "Vacation", "The Big Bus", "The Incredible Shrinking Woman", "Polyester", "The Bad News Bears", "Fast Times", "Nine to Five", "Arthur", "Earth Girls Are Easy", "The Big Picture", "Beverly Hills Cop", "Summer School", "The Man With Two Brains", "Funny Farm", "Hairspray" (1988), "The Frisco Kid", "Throw Momma From the Train", "Big Business". All come to mind....for now.

Lots of great suggestions. I'd add these...
Play It Again Sam (1972)
Meatballs (1979)
Night Shift (1982)
Monty Python's The Meaning of Life (1983)
Broadway Danny Rose (1984)
Without a Clue (1988)
War of the Roses (1989)
and no list of this era would be complete without a Richard Pryor film...
Stir Crazy (1980)

I go to movie jail for forgetting this.
It will disturb you, but I have not seen most of these. Some of them I own and haven't gotten to, some of them I've seen and was mild on or didn't quite feel like including, and a couple, like Throw Momma From the Train, I've been waiting for rumored special editions to arrive. And BHC is on my list, btw.

Through the whole lot o' yas and no love for Porky's!!!!? I'm shocked. The Ballbricker "line up" scene that takes place with the principal and the two coaches (not forgetting Eisenhower) is one of the funniest moments in comedic film history!!
Some others ...
Better off Dead
Fletch
Real Genius
Midnight Run
The Ninth Configuration
Night Shift
Skin Deep
