DVD Talk review of 'So Close'
I read Jason Bovberg's DVD review of So Close at http://www.dvdtalk.com/reviews/read.php?ID=8756 and...
you state the audio tracks as "the original Cantonese and dubbed Mandarin and English tracks" when in fact, shu qi and zhao wei are both speaking mandarin (which is why their mouths do not move in synch on the cantonese track). karen mok and most of the other cast speaks cantonese. i've had the import dvd for quite some time and i was hoping they'd splice the two audio tracks (cantonese and manderin) together for the u.s. release, but that unfortunately does not seem to be the case. my annoying solution has been to manually change audio tracks in order to view the movie with their native un-dubbed voices.
just wanted to share.
