Reviews wanted: Swiss Family Robinson
A favorite movie of mine when I was a child, I saw this at the Disney Store last weekend. I didn't pick it up, but would like to in the near future. How's it look?

The print has some problems but nothing serious unless you demand near perfection in your transfers. It looked very good considering its age. And it's nice to see it in it's OAR, too.
The audio was good too. But the extras are where this disc really shines. If you like extras, you'll love this DVD. There's openning day footage of the Swiss Family attraction at Disney World, a decent audio commentary, behind the scenes material, some very interesting audio material. Just amazing how much stuff they put on that second disc. But that kid kind of got on my nerves now and then.  If you really like this movie, I have no problem recommending a buy. -David |
