I heard that one of the apex models is multi region. What is the model number of this player? Also, to play different region dvds wouldn't I have to have a PAL tv also or is there a converter to switch the signal to ntsc. Any and all help is appreciated. Thanks.

There are no currently produced Apex DVD players that are multiregional, and haven't been for quite awhile.

The 600A was the one with a 'loophole' menu that allowed you to change regions, and other things. They changed that, and the 600A no longer has that capability.

The current 600A's and 660's (I believe) can have their firmware changed to allow the multiregion functionality again. You can also look on Ebay for ones that have already been modified.
