Genica Kalua, Does it do the Pal to NTSC conversion?

I recently purchased the Genica Kalua GN-800. I was wondering if it can do the Pal to NTSC conversion like the Apex and Sampo can. Does anyone have this player and have sucessfully set it up for multiregion and played Pal discs on their NTSC tv? I have been given codes to make it region free and to remove macrovision. I have been following this thread on teh player as well as posting there:

No unfortunately it does not. It will output PAL as PAL and NTSC as NTSC, but will convert neither.
