Can someone with some knowledge do a Sony Sub-Woofer FAQ or something?

There are a LOT of posts that start with "I just got 'x' Sub, and what is a cross-over, etc..how should I set it up?"

With people buying the Sony by the horde, it might be nice if a resident audiophile put up a thread for newcomers to HT who don't know whether to set it in reverse or whatever..
(See, I know nothing,and my sub comes tommorow!)

It would be a way cool thread, and might cut down the amount of SW Q's.

Anyone?

I just received mine in the mail. Very fast delivery from nu-vision.com ($165 shipped). Ordered it on friday and received it on monday. I will probably set it up on saturday when my main and center come in. Thanks for the recommendation Chess. I actually picked up the enery xl-16's last week to go along with my pioneer 509s and the sony sub. My system is really starting to look too close to yours now.
