Does anyone use a portable DVD player as their HT unit??

I was looking at picking up a portable DVD player and noticed that some of the higher end models had better features than my home unit. The particular model I am looking at is the Toshiba SDP-1000, DD, DTS, component out, Progressive scan etc.
I was wondering if anyone else used a portable DVD player for their home unit, as well as having the flexibility of having a portable to take on the road.
