Personally I'd skip UHD or 4k for now as the specs are still in flux. And I've seen too many reviews of how badly some models look when displaying any non 4k content. Everyone want's a "good deal" or "good price", but you often get what you pay for, especially in regards to new tech.

BestBuy currently has the Samsung JS8500 Series UN65JS8500FXZA LED Smart 4K Ultra HDTV for $2,000 that is really tempting me. Looks like a solid 65 inch 4k TV that's supposed to go on sale for Black Friday yet it appears to be active right now.
Really tempted to go for it, however I might wait for a Amazon Price-match.
Any thoughts on the TV or deal in general?

Both have it for 2K right now. Is it supposed to drop even further?

Good question. The Black Friday ad has it listed at that price so it looks like it dropped early.

Re: Best 65-70" HDTV for a living room wall?
Looks like I'm in the market for a new HD TV maybe a 4K one. Turned on my 4.5 year old Panny Plasma TV this morning & no audio. Worked fine last night before I turned it off. Sound bar seems to be working. Changed the digital audio cable & that did not help. Removed the cable & turned on tv speakers in the menu & still no audio. So I'm guess the audio board is bad.

Follow up... I did end up buying the Samsung 4K 65" JS8500 at Best Buy. The Geek Squad installed it last night and it was a good experience. Still need to get more hooked up to it and play around with the settings, but no complaints at all so far. Great picture, and I haven't even gotten to try out true 4K resolution yet.
