This unit was $20,000...now it runs for $13,000.

Prices are dropping..and the technology is advancing..I go as far to say that it looks damn sharper than any bulky HDTV set I've seen...I was disappointed by the Mits..and the Philips.

forget the Mits and in particular the Philips! The latter is CRAP!!!
stick with the Pioneer, that's what I have.
Sonic, are you sure you can get the
Pioneer 50-inch panel for 13K??? Make
sure it is NOT the 501 model, that's
been replaced by the 502 which is 40%
brighter than the 501! If you found it
for 13K< GET IT!!

Unless I can get one for under $2000, I'll never ever have one Some of this stuff is just too dang expensive, I know it's meant to be elite and all but still.. is the extra $20,000 you spent on a TV really worth it?

I guess if you're rich enough to have the money to spare, but I know I never will

<hugs his loving 25" Sanyo>
