Panasonic have just released their spanking brand-new DVD-Recorder/Player using the DVD-RAM format (means you can also play back the
discs on MOST computer DVD drives)

Three reasons not to buy it.
1)DVD RAM discs are not compatible with regular DVD players and DVD ROM drives.
2)DVD RAM drives only record stereo sound. They are not capable of recording 5.1
3)It is very expensive and for the above two reasons is not worth it.
