B&W Movie Fan- Speaker Suggestions
Odd I know, but I'm a 33-year old dude who watches 10 black & white "classics" for every 1 modern film, all on my 46" Samsung LCD.
So far, I've been struggling along with my TV speakers. I want to upgrade to external speakers. I'm not concerned about 5.1, 7.1, Dolby, surround, crystal clear quality, etc. Just a decent, entry-level set. So, what do y'all recommend? And by recommend, I don't mean "look on Craigslist". I'm thinking more of Amazon. Am I right in assuming that I just need a receiver and 2 speakers? Any further thoughts? Thanks in advance, -G |

First, tell us what your price range is.
Second, I get more than decent audio from my bedroom setup which includes a Logitech Z-5500 kit (current version is the Z-906). Something like that seems like it should do you just fine.
