BluRay Player/TV/Sound help...
Hi all, wondering if you can help.
I have just bought myself my first BluRay player, and plugged it into my TV using an HDMI cable. My TV is supposedly HD ready, and the picture is certainly HD quality. My problem, however, is the sound. It comes across as exceptionally fuzzy for no apparent reason. Could this be a problem with my TV? Or maybe the sound settings? Please help me! I am on my second BluRay player (having returned the first one thinking it was faulty) and I just want to watch the 20 movies I bought at the same time in glorious HD!

You need to check the output settings on the player and the input settings on the tv. Sounds like a mismatch somewhere.

You should mention the make and model of your Blu-ray player, as well as your TV. Someone familiar with the same model of either may be able to help.

Thanks guys... I have actually been sent 2 faulty machines, apparently. Just tried a friend's machine on my TV and it works just fine.

You might want to go ahead and check the settings. Esp to see if the player is set to a stereo mode properly.

Again, knowing brands and model numbers of your player and TV is the only way we're going to be able to help you. Your friend's player working correctly may be because he had his audio output settings the way they should be and you don't. It's that simple.
