wonder, is this a LCD projection set or a LCD flat panel set? it would be very weird if a spider can get into the flat panel.

Crap. I have a spider in mine, too. I noticed it during the Olympic opener last night. I thought it was running around on the opera singer and I was LMAO... then I realized it was still there when I went to commercial.

How the hell do I get this thing out?

The good thing about a spider in there is that it will keep the other bugs away. You don't want to mess with mites - I had to throw away a computer and laptop because hundreds of mites were living inside them.

I too had one inside my projection tv.. It only was there for maybe 2 days.. as the lack of food it was getting and it probably just moved on.

Ughh... Spiders freak me out! Its such a stupid fear but I cant get over it. The TV would be in the trash!

I have one too....
Consensus is I should just leave it? The TV is a big RPTV, and the exterminator just came the other day to spray outside....I haven't noticed this before and the TV has been in the same place for a couple years.
I came downstairs and saw the tv and was like, "Geez, that's a big spider on the tv. Crap, that's a big spider IN the tv."

After reading this thread a month or so ago, I discovered a spider in my RP LCDtv. It seems to be walking on the back panel where the image is projected. It disappeared for a couple weeks then popped back up and freaked out my kids.
