Re: I have a spider living inside my TV

I've seen a little bug go across my TV screen before. Same situation as you: went up to knock it off only to realize it's inside the TV. Don't think mine was a spider, though, and it certainly wasn't as big as the one in your picture. Wow! My bug was like a little dot that you would see traveling across the screen.

Invite some friends over and watch Planet Earth in HD. See if the spidder comes out for a cameo.

That would not bother me as much.

Re: I have a spider living inside my TV

If that is a projection TV, it is probably a small spider somewhere on the lamp that looks huge on the screen. Also, if it is an RPTV, it should be fairly simply to open up the TV and work on fishing out the spider. If it is a flat panel....I'm not even sure how something that large could be in there, so I'm assuming it is RPTV.

dollfins1,
Try them with chocolate sauce.

Just watch Aracnophobia on an endless loop and you'll never notice it again.

Re: I have a spider living inside my TV

Spiders could all die tomorrow and I would be a little happier in the world.

Seriously though, insects last about a minute in my house. THen the cats get to it and it's all over. They LOOOOVE bugs! Especially the spiders. I have trained them well. They get a treat after every bug has been put to rest.

Don;t see many bugs after the Exterminator came though.

Maybe an idea, try spraying some Raid in there but I have NO idea how that would effect the TV.

My worst nightmare living in Chattanooga, TN - it's like the Amazon when it comes to bugs, pollen count, and humidity. Bleh. I know what the little bastards look like.

Always remember, if the spidey has a upside down image of a violin on its back then stay the hell away and get the Raid!!

I'd try to bill it as an EXCLUSIVE spider.

Or, the hourglass on the underside of a Black Widow spider. Like the one that came in a bag of grapes we bought a few years back...

Re: I have a spider living inside my TV

spiders have messed up the chandeliers with their webs

one silverfish got stuck in one of our picture frames and is now a fossil near the bottom of the frame.

Call the Anthropologists! Or the Insectologicalistsits. You may have discovered a 10 Billion year-old creature who once lived on your land.

Re: I have a spider living inside my TV

This is not funny

I was watching Fanboys and a spider twice walked diagonally across the tv screen

I checked and the spider was under the screen and probably fucking up the picture quality on my TV

This sucks.

I bet almost everyone has or had a spider inside the TV at one time unless you opened the tv and checked every nick and corner and discovered there were no spiders.

How does the song go? "There was an old TV that swallowed a spider..." Methinks you need a bird.
