it is a jvc reciever model # rx6000. there was nothing on www.audioreview.com. so im hoping someone here has had an experience with this model. any help would be greatly appreiciated.

Yes, I have heard of it. It is basiclly JVC's new line of "cheap" (or affordable, however you want to put it) receivers. It is along the same line as the Kenwood VR-309.
