Regular, run-of-the-mill 35" Sony Trinitron. I would like a rear projection, but I will probably end up waiting until I start/finish my dedicated home theater in my basement. I am assuming that my family room is too bright during daytime to work well with a RPTV....sigh

Toshiba 36" (CZ36V61) ... I personally didn't like the look of the comparable Sony's, that's why I went Toshiba. When I have the money I'll probably Get a Mit. 50-60" HDTV.

Just using a run of the mill 27" Sony Trinitron..as per usual I'm on my second one, sony's quality assurance is less than reassuring to say the least..visions of a wide screen tv or projection system are dancing in my head. Shame really this aparment would lend itself well to a projector.

Just bought a Toshiba TW65X81.
It's a 65" wide screen (16:9) "HDTV ready" rear projection. The ultimate for DVD viewing.

Panasonic PT-56WXF95, got it in November. 16:9, 56", HDTV Ready, 720p and 1080i native support. Our weekly movies watched tripled after getting this TV.

Toshiba TP61H95 - 61" HDTV Ready 4x3.

Have had this set 14 months, still am amazed at the picture quality. Will be adding the Toshiba 5109 Progressive DVD player (as soon as the budget will allow..).

Panasonic CT27SF25... 27" SuperFlat...

Am hoping to get a 16x9 TV in the next year or two, probably a smallish one as I'll most likely be a small apartment dweller after finishing school and finding a job.

I have the Toshiba TW56x81 HDTV set.

I love this set, the only problem is that I would like to take the protective screen off and eliminate the glare in the daytime as much as possible but find that it is not as easy as the Mitsubishis. If anyone knows a good way to take the screen off, please let me know.
