just bought one of these yesterday and i hooked up my dvd player and for some reason i'm getting black bars on a 1.85 aspect ratio dvd. yes it's anamorphic so i know that's not the problem. is there some setting that i've forgotten to switch from the default? anyone who has this model and could provide some info would be greatly appreciated.

nevermind, problem solved. the dvd player i hooked up to it was still set-up for 4:3 so i just had to switch it to 16:9
