I just have to give Toshiba "props"
Long story short my Light Engine went out on my 2 year old 52 Inch Cinema Series DLP. After waiting three months for the $500 part not to come in, and several phone calls later...
They called me 1 1/2 weeks ago and said that they could not get the part and that they would "work" something out.
"End of Story" My wife called me at 4:15 pm today, my new 52 Inch Cinema Series was delivered and set up in my home while I was at work. I am excited to get home, and I am extremely pleased with the customer service that I got.

Wow. I assume you mean they upgraded you for free to the newest model?! You dealt with Toshiba direct vice a third party seller/store? If so, I am very impressed by that. If I were ever in the market and Toshiba were on the table that would definitely help make the decision. Unfortunately for them, they probably won't ever be in the mix.

Brand New! I was ecstatic to say the least. I did have a initial phone call put in from a Toshiba Regional rep that I knew from roughly 8-9 years ago, but still for them to do this out of warranty was exceptional.
