Looking for a 32" LCD set. Anyone have any recommendations?
Price is not a factor at this point.
720P resolution.
Thanks

I was thinking 720P due to the fact it is not my primary tv for movie watching or games. It will be in the family room. Kids movies, news, cable programming. Probably don't need 1080P.
What Samsung model? What do you like about it?

From what I hear T3253H is the way to go if your looking for a 32in LCD. Amazing picture but problems with the audio cutting in and out is widespread. Another great TV I've heard a lot about that is 32" is Sony 32S3000.

I've been looking for a 32" LCD myself but haven't pulled the trigger

How does the Sony M Series M3000 compare with the S Series S3000? The only difference I see is contrast ratio.

I'm in the market for the same... Just waiting on my tax refund to come in within the next week or so. I'm personally thinking about the Toshiba 32HL67. Unfortunately, I haven't been liking the prices I've been seeing for it (Amazon's price seems to fluctuate by $50 daily). With this year's new models soon to come out, I thought the prices would drop on the current crop, but apparently not.

1080p on a 32" is almost never necessary.

i wanted to ask about this since i was considering the recent 32" aquos hd tv with full 1080p but was reading on cnet that the difference in resolution is not visible.

is this absolutely true? what is the minimum size required for one to notice the 1080p resolution? if you can inform me clearly on this, i'd appreciate it

I have heard anything over 40" is worthwhile.
I am trying to get that 32" Samsung at Fry's tonight if I can.
That seems like a hell of a deal.

Well I went to price match the Samsung at Best Buy and was shot down.
Best Buy said the price was too low and they could not match it.
I asked about the HDTV price guarantee and he said not if it was below their cost.
I argued for a few minutes and then left. Not worth my time but thought it was pretty funny to have a guarantee that you will match any price and then have a bunch of excuses why they can't match.

Should of called BB corporate right there in store and they would of price matched it for sure. Seriously BB corporate does not mess around, I always seem to run into problems at BB but anytime i've had to called Corporate they've went above and beyond to get the problem resolved.

If your not looking for nothing fancy, I bought the Digital Research LCD 32" 720p from Costco for $499 for our bedroom and it's not a bad TV for what we use it for. It produces a pretty good picture but we didnt want to spend alot for the bedroom. Just look at their web site for spec's.

Well I convinced the wife that a 40" LCD would be better for the room and she agreed. Yeah! So I got the 40" Samsung LCD.
Great tv. I am very impressed so far after one day.
