Onkyo 605 Question

I'm looking to grab one in the next couple of weeks. I'm not at 1080p, but I want to buy it as if I upgrade my TV or HD players I'll still be in good hands. Is it easy to set up? If not, I'll be willing to take some advice. Thanks!

I said, 'Yes.' He said, 'do you get paid?' I said, 'Yes.' He said well tell Bill I said have a Coke and a smile and shut the fuck up! The Jello puddin'-eating motherfucker!"

Onkyos are very easy to use. In fact, they were used on most setup DVDs so when these DVDs show menus and such, they match your actual receiver a bit.

I was looking at a 605, but ended up going for the 705 for just a little bit more money at the time. Needed it to better match up with my speakers, and the extra HDMI input. Its a great reciever (both the 605 and 705) future-proofing wise, and gives you alot for your money. Probably the best value out there now. Only issue I had when first setting it up was figuring out how to assign the inputs, but I read the manual a little closer and figured it out. Got it powering a 5.1 Klipsch reference series set of speakers, A20 HD-dvd player, Samsung 1200 BR player, and HD cable box going to the HDMI in, a Xbox 360 component in/optical audio in, and all video output via the single HDMI out to the tv.
