Anyone ever go fishing?
Tomorrow is going to be a super busy day for me. I am going to be waking up and going to the house I'm moving in to, and running speaker wire under the carpet... fishing... anyone ever do this? Is it fairly easy to do? It will be my first attempt at such a task to at least hide the wiring until it exits the floor and up the wall.. unless someone has another suggestion for that. I was thinking of fishing it up the wall too... but that flat speaker cable is pretty wide!!
Anyways, after that, I'll be picking up my HDTV Sony 55" SXRD and hooking it up to what will hopefully be my completely wired and ready system!

It is not bad with fishing tape. Depends on specifics, of course. If the carpet is glued down you may be in trouble.
Don't pull too hard on the speaker wire, make sure it can slide easily. Presumably it is stranded and those can be damaged fairly easily. It's not like coax that can pull hundreds of pounds.

I got it all laid out this morning... Carpet was a pain to get out from under the old baseboard, but it worked... Not the cleanest of jobs, but it'll do.
