HDMI/DVI Player Question

Hi. I'm looking to get a new multiregion DVD player with PAL to NTSC. I've seen the ones from Oppo Digital are most often recommended.

I really don't know a ton about this stuff, so if you all could help me choose the best one and recommend a setup (and any calibrating, etc I might need to do), I would appreciate it.

My TV is this this 32" Westinghouse HD LCD.

I currently have a simple composite setup with audio through the TV.
I'm just looking for a DVD player which provides a picture that largely takes advantage of the features of the television and can play multi region DVDs.
The TV has an HDMI input, but I don't really know what DVI is and one of the Oppo players apparently has a DVI output? Would there be noticable differences between the three models? Thanks!

DVI and HDMI are essentially the same digital connection, except that HDMI also carries the audio.

Ah, I see. Thanks! Is the audio through HDMI noticably better than than I would get through an analog (red/white) connection, considering I am using the TV speaker, not any kind of sound system?

No. Not for TV speakers.
