PAL progressive scan questions
Correct me if I'm wrong. My player Pioneer 676A claims to be able to output progressive scan both NTSC and PAL. If it's NTSC then the output should be 480p - and what about if the DVD is PAL? Is it 576p? I set the player AUTO, so it will play NTSC as NTSC, PAL as PAL.

Yes, if it is sending native PAL output. This is what my Denon does.
