Problems with my SONY home theater
I bought a SONY home theater system about a year and a half ago at BB. (Receiver, 5 speakers and sub). It's been working fine until recently.
When I go to turn on the receiver it takes about a second or two and then the speakers click on. The display shows that all the speakers are on with the R, L, C, and SW icons. Then like five seconds after turning it on the speakers turn off and no audio comes through. Also the display no longer shows the speaker icons. Any ideas as to what the problem may be? I'm stumped. ![]() Thanks in advance. BTW, I don't know the model number off hand.

Go to http://www.agoraquest.com and ask your question. It's an all Sony forum and the guys there are EXTREMELY knowledgable. If there's a way to fix your receiver they'll probably know about it.

The first thing is to check for a loose speaker wire connection, esp if it touches another wire.
