Region-free upsampling DVD player

Hey, sorry if this is a stupid question, but I'm looking for a DVD player that will play pretty much anything. I'm thinking that if a player is region-free, and it can upsample signals (NTSC, PAL, and SECAM) to HD, it would be the perfect player. Unfortunately, I can't seem to find one anywhere. Does a player like this exist?
