I have a toshiba big screen television that is about 5 years old. Today, randomly while watching a show, the whole thing went green. I can still hear everything just fine and my DirecTV guide data shows fine, but the actual show is all green and you can't see anything.

Anyone have any idea why this happened and/or what I can do to fix it?

If you have component cables going into it check that one isn't bad or came loose.

Are you sure it's the TV? If the guide data displays normally then it sounds more like it's a problem with the signal from the dish.

Do other sources (DVD etc.) look OK?
