DVD Playback problem
Hi
I'm using a vga box to connect my dvd player to my monitor so I can view the movies in progressive scan. The image sharpness is amazing on a monitor compared to a tv. Although on some dvd's I have white diagonal lines on the top left corner of the screen. The lines are intermittent, they come and go.
This seem's like some kind of copy protection. Here is the dvd list I have.
Lord Of The Rings 1 2 3 Special extended edition - Works fine
Alien Quadrilogy - Diagonal lines
E3 2004 Access - Works fine
King of the Cage - Works fine
Full Contact Fight - Works fine
Alien VS Predator - Diagonal lines
The Forgotten - Works fine
The Chronicles Of Riddick - Diagonal lines
Now is this macrovision on some dvd's that make the lines apear?
Is it something else?
Any kind of help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks
