DVD albums

Someone recently told me that putting my dvd collection in dvd albums (the logic case ones) is a bad idea because it can corrupt the dvds. Is this true?
Is it also bad to put it in cd albums?

Never heard of this before. There are some people here on this forum that do this. So I really don't think that it would mess up the DVD's. Personally I don't, but that is becuase I like the look of all my DVDs out.

As far as CDs, I personally have them that way and never had a problem with them. My brother does the same and same there.

Maybe some other people can chime in.
