Speaker Recommendations Please

I need to purchase center channel and and two fronts (tower?) with a budget of $2000. The room is approximately 16X10X8. Seating is 14' from 92" screen. I have thought about buyer a couple Definitive Tech Towers that each have a sub that I could use for LFE. Any suggestions/recommendations would be appreciated.

They're going to be used with a Yamaha 6.1 receiver.

Thanks

If you have a dealer nearby, check out Allisons. You'll be glad you did........

Klipsch makes an excellent speaker in your price range. The Reference line would be a good option. Oh, for a sub, get an SVS sub. They are the best out there and will not leave you wanting for more. They are simply amazing (and next on my list). IMHO

Checkout the Onyx Rockets line of loudspeakers at http://www.av123.com. I have their Rockets 550 Ultra package. The sound is superb and the center channel is awesome! Plus they have excellent customer service and a great forum to boot.

Thanks for the recommendations everyone. Do I have to buy SVS from their website?

Yes they only sell that way. They have excellent customer service and a return guarantee. I am very pleased with my SVS 20-39

I would recommend B & W speakers.

I have recently blind sound tested them against four or five of its competitors, including Paradigm and Klipsch. None have even come close.
