You would be wa-y-y-y better off asking this in the hardware area.

The Key Digital one is the best. Behind that, probably the Audio Authority.

The KD-VTCA2 from Key Digital or the X-Blaster from key digital?

The KD-VTCA2. Haven't seen reviews of the X-Blaster yet. It could be just as good.

will do PAL -> NTSC system changes?

I am looking for a Component to VGA converter myself and I have a few questions.

For example, with the Key Digital System's converter, will I be able to view PAL DVDs on my LCD monitor? (Currently, I use the video input on my Xtasy Everything GeForce 2MX card, hooked up to my Pioneer S6D DVD player to view PAL DVDs, and it's fine.)

What about PAL / NTSC mixed signals? I have a PAL PS2 that's modded but when I play NTSC games, the screen is black and white. It does the same on my computer as the TV. Will any Component to VGA converter fix this problem?

Finally, about resolution! KDS's converter says it supports progressive scan and resolution up to 1280x1024? LCDs monitors are suckers when it comes to resolution settings... do I need to anticipate any problems with this? (Black screen, resolution not supported?)

Thanks for any help on this!

how about a DVI to component adapter?

EDIT: nevermind, I found what I was looking for.

ATi HDTV adapter for Radeon video cards

Hmm, pretty cheap $30 shipped. Both VGA and VDI adapters are available. Reviews say its a little buggy. HTPC here I come!
