What's wrong with my Tosh 2109?

Started noticing it when i 1st got my Sony Wega TV(maybe because it's not obvious on my old TV without SVideo or composite input?) When watching some DVDs like 'The Transporter' (didn't noticed it on this disc till I played it the next day), Terminator 2 (1st noticed it when the menu is on for a while) and 'Lord of the Rings' although not on MGM dvds, I noticed a slight semi opague white flicker on the upper half of the screen. It seems to remind me of a flourescent llight in the kitchen whose bulb is getting weaker and starts to flicker. This problem may not be noticed by a casual viewer but will be for someone who has used the same player and disc for a while.
Has anyone ever had this problem? Will cleaning the lens solved this or any other advice?
