Malata 996 or 520?

Well, I have the 520 and it works great. The only poor is the remote control as far as button layout. Other than that it's excellent.

I think the 996 is better. This question has been asked and answered many times over by the real experts on the avsforum.com site. Look under the "DVD and LD Hardware" section. There is a section dedicated to this question.
