speaker placement / room arrangement
I have been cursed with the viewing room shown below, the back wall of the room has an angle to it. I have placed the surrounds in the back the best I could at the time, but was wondering if anyone else could come up with a better arrangment?
the receiver is onkyo, fronts are klipsch synergy, klipsch center, klipsch sub, and surrounds are polk fx series di/bi poles. the side the photo was taken from is open to the kitchen. so you can see the arrangement sucks, but is there any alternatives for me other that what I have done here? |

That doesn't look bad, but the only drawback I can see is that neither chair is in the sweet spot. I would put the surrounds a little higher so the one isn't blasting your ear and the other is 10 feet away. Higher will make the sound more room filling instead of directional.
