DVD player problems...
Ok my friend went to the store the other day and bought a DVD when he got home he put it in and the player didn't read it and it said "no disc" on the screen so he though he would try one of the other discs that have worked before and they do the same thing. I told him to clean it and that might help but he got it only about a month ago so i don't think thats the problem. Anyway does anyone know what causes this and what to do about it? I don't know his model but I will talk to him sometime this week and I will post it. Thanks for your help

Any more details, including a model number, would help.
The Hardware forum deals with hardware related issues... moving thread.

It is an apex but I don't know the number he got a cleaner and it wont even read that. I think he is going to try to go back to wal-mart and return it. But other than that I have no idea whats wrong with it
