Will DVD players that play mp3s on CD-R, play them on DVD-R?
I just thought about it, and I could fit a crapload of mp3s on 1 disc if I just got one of those cheap APEX DVD players that play MP3 CDs, using a DVD-R.

Not all DVD players can read DVDR's. I know most Apex's can't, for example. I know the link posted above shows most of them can, but not that I've ever seen. Also, if you find one that can read DVD-R, it can't necessarily read all data types from DVD-R, like MP3's for example.
What you can do with some players (like Apex) that actually use a DVD ROM for playback is remove the DVD Drive and insert a regular IDE hard drive filled with MP3's to make an MP3 jukebox. Forget DVD R, think about a 120 gig drive filled with MP3s.
