Need help finding a high quality subwoofer single line interconnect

Hi-

I need to find a high quality subwoofer single line interconnect. The MonsterBass MB300 12ft cable from Moster Cable costs $40 and, in my opinion, isn't worth that much. I'd like some advice on what brand cables I should look into and where I should get them for the best price.

Thanks.

www.cobaltcables.com

A 12ft Cobalt sub cable would be $49 shipped.

I have one of these, but I use it for a coax digital cable and it works excellent. It is a very sturdy, good looking cable.

Any reasonable-quality RCA patchcord will make a fine connector for signal-level sub connects. Unless you *really* want to throw money away on Monsters, etc. You won't hear a diffference. Really. So many poor(er) people actually convince themselves that their system sounds better with cables costing several hundreds of dollars. Physics is *not* on their side. Monster Cable's metallurgical hype is laughable.

For line-level cable, just use regular 10-gauge wire with good connects, don't make huge runs (less than 15' or so) and you'll be fine.

regular wire isn't shielded and is not recomended for interconnect. as to the question of the audibility of interconnects, the issue isn't as black and white as you paint it.

The highest quality and cheap prices alternative is using RG-6 cable with F-connectors and then use F-Connectors to RCA adpters and you have a highly sheilded, high quality cable for a nice price.
