Quest. about recr.
I have a Pioneer VSX D607S, bought 2 years ago. I just picked up a set of headphones to use with my reciever. When I plugged the headphones into the reciever, sound still comes out of my home theater speakers, which defeats the purpose of the headphones!
Whats the problem??? Thanks. |

If you have a speaker select, try unselecting your speakers.

Or you tried to find a speaker selector and didn't find one? I don't see a speaker selector on this (limited resolution) image. Maybe it's in one of the setup menus. |

Found the problem, the headphone jack was not seating properly, seemed to be too wide at the base. I exchanged the headphones for a another set and it waorks fine!!
Stevevt, actually it has the A/B speaker selector. My speakers are hooked to "A" . I don't use "B". So I had selected "B", but then no sound was heard in the headphones. But............all is well.................THANKS. |
