XBox and Sony 36XBR250 TV Question
Hi,
I was just wondering if my good old 36XBR250 (1999 Model, non Progressive) can utilize the WideScreen format of the launch games: I have Dead or Alive 3, and it indeed squeezes the screen, but I could not get Halo or Much's Oddysee to run into WideScreen Mode. Thanks in advance. http://www.sel.sony.com/SEL/consumer...v36xbr250.html |

Those games do not have 16:9 support unfortunately. Pretty much rediculous IMO. I am currently waiting to purchase the Box for this particular reason.

Thanks for your message...
...about the WideScreen games.
Are you sure those games are not WideScreen? Since I have DOA3 and I know that it is WideScreen, but this site reports that the rest are also WideScreen: http://gear.ign.com/articles/316286p1.html It States that: "The widescreen format won't be optimal for every launch title, but there are plenty that run 16:9: Munch, Halo, DOA 3, Gotham, etc. And it's a safe bet that a steady stream of 16:9 titles are coming down the pike." What type of TV you have? Thanks again! |
