how do you guys make sure a redemption code works without actually redeeming it?

i saw many speak about it, but don't know how to do that. thanks.

MYUV.com allows for it. I believe if you have a FOX code, Fox's redeem also allows you to check a code before completing it. The same with an Universal Pictures code (UPHE). To my knowledge, Sony and VUDU are automatic, one time is all you get.

Edit: Sorry about the buggy code this morning...it's my fault, yesterday was an awful awful day and I'm just recovering from it now.

On MyUV.com, Type in the code, hit enter and it will tell you if the code is valid (and what's it for) before you select a provider. As long as you don't select a provider, you are good. Now some codes don't work in MyUV.com but most do...it's trial and error. As long as it doesn't tell you that the code has already been used, you are good to go.

For Fox codes...I believe you just have to type the code into the form and it will automatically tell you if its ok...don't even have to redeem. (FoxRedeem.com)

For UPHE/Universal codes, as long as you don't select your provider (which usually is the key)...you should be alright. Hope that helps.
