I need The 400 Blows criterion DVD in my hands by Nov. 4th. Does anyone have one they'd be willing to sell for around $65 shipped that could be here by the 4th (zipcode 06269)? I pay via PayPal.

I saw it at a Blockbuster Video once. You can rent it there, and come back in 2 weeks and pick up the case and pay the original retail price for it (whatever it says in their computer) minus the rental fee. At least you can do that around here.

The first ends the day before I'd need it and they live on the other end of the country, but I emailed them about possibly ending it early since nobody has bid.

The second already has bids and ends after I need it.

To answer your questions, I'll be missing my film class's screening this week and I need to see the movie before the following Monday since we'll be tested. I need it by Friday because I have no access to the mail room on weekends, and I need it online because there are no DVD stores remotely nearby, and I have no car on campus even if there were.

I want the Criterion version specifically because if I were to buy it, I'd rather not have the non-CC one, for collecting's sake.

Also, to anyone trading/selling--I'd also be fine with the newer, reissued version from the box, but I wouldn't pay as much for it.

Um... what he said. Perhaps you didn't realize CC rereleased The 400 Blows in the Antoine Doinel Boxset. Pickup the box, the other films are great too (ok Love on the Run is pretty Meh)

Search on Amazon for 400 Blows. Prices are starting @ $90 USD for the Criterion Collection in "Very Good" condition when I checked.

The Antoine Doniel series is new @ Amazon for $89.95 and can be shipped 2 day if you decide to forego the CC copy. AND you pick up 4 extra flicks.

Looks like the 400 Blows non-CC still has to be special ordered, if you were thinking about that route.
