The Blu-Ray's appear as $16.67 each in your cart so I'm betting that none of them qualify as a fulfillment selection.

Has anyone made a purchase using this promotion yet?

Thanks for the heads-up! I think this only makes sense if there is also free shipping, otherwise it's kind of a poor deal, to me.

You might hold out till the last day. Often a free shipping code shows up in the middle of the weekend.

Dead, as scheduled. I almost placed an order last night, but without free shipping, I just couldn't do it. If more pre-orders were included, such as future 3D titles, I would have done it.

That deal sucked. You end up paying the same price or more for any recent BD than you would have with Amazon.

Columbia House needs to get with it. Bluray is the future; they need to start acting like it.

I guess that you forgot about that enrollment package that arrived at your door so many months ago. I doubt that Amazon could have matched that price.

You are absolutely right SBJ, but he is right that CH is going to have to get in the game. To get a deal it always seems like you have to wait for a B1G1 and free ship to stack and then you have to take a standard dvd. They are totally missing out on competing the $5 to $10 blu ray deals.

To me, the problem is CH is pretending like BD movies are at some sort of premium, like only the chosen buy that format. When there have already been 2nd and 3rd prints of movies in the BD format, perhaps its time to recognize and realize that a very large BD market exists and offering deals and such is only going to INCREASE their business.

The only thing keeping many movie watchers from not yet fully adopting the format is the disc prices. You bring at least some of them down to the bargain bin type prices and you'll see a brand new wave of BD enthusiasts.

But, that makes too much sense. Carry on, CH. Let's pretend only 1,000 people buy BD movies and that youre catering to a limited audience.
